Wax, Oil, & Tannin Remover

Grimes & Sons Wax, Oil, & Tannin Remover may be used to clean timber panelling, doors, floors, etc., which have a build up of old waxes and oil stains. Please note, Wax, Oil, & Tannin Remover will not remove lacquer coatings.

Directions for use: Apply liberally to the timber with a brush or a mop ensuring all the timber surface is thoroughly wet. Work in small controllable sized areas. Allow 5-10 minutes contact and then scrub with a nylon bristle scrubbing brush and hot water. Take care not to allow the remover to dry off. After scrubbing, pick up slurry, rinse with clean hot water, and allow to dry. Repeat the procedure if necessary on any areas not completely stripped.

Safety: Avoid contact with skin and eyes. Wear eye protection and gloves. Harmful if swallowed and in contact with eyes and skin. Floors may become slippery during the stripping process. Care should be taken when working on wet floors or if product is spilt.

If poisoning occurs, contact a doctor or Poison Information Centre (13 11 26). If swallowed, do NOT induce vomiting. Give a glass of water. If skin contact occurs, remove contaminated clothing and wash skin thoroughly. If in eyes, hold eyes open, and flood with water for at least 15 minutes and see a doctor.
